Metals: Wire Form & Springs
ISO 9001:2015 Certified • ITAR
Our Wire Forming partner is a leading spring manufacturer of Compression, Extension, Torsion Springs & Wire Forms.
Compression Springs are open coiled helical springs that resist a compression force applied axially. They may be tapered, conical, cylindrical, convex, or concave in shape.
Extension Springs are a wire spring that reacts to forces pulling the ends apart, & physically extending in shape, trying to offer resistance & returns to its closed coil shape. Extension Springs are designed to absorb & store energy, as well as create resistance to a pulling force. It is the initial tension that determines how tightly together it is coiled.
Torsion Springs are a specific type of spring that reacts to rotational forces called torque. Torsion Springs exert torque in a circular or rotating arch with the spring arms rotating about the central axis. They can store & release angular energy or statically hold a mechanism in place by deflecting the legs about the body centerline axis.
Our Wire Forming partner custom designs and manufactures precision, high quality wire forms in several different shapes and sizes using the following techniques:
- CNC Machining
MATERIALS – HIGH STRENGTH & ANNEALED:
- Carbon Steel
